Here are some Lunar Eclipse Images from some of the local area amateur LUNAR-tic astronomers

Loyd Overcash
Here is one of many images I took on Wednesday night. It was taken with the Nikon D-70 and the Takahashi FS-128 at prime focus. Exposure was 8 seconds at 200 ASA.

Lunar Clock

 

Dick Locke
Starting from the lower left is the early part of the eclipse, progressing along until totality, center, and than coming out of totality (bright part on left).  All the above images straight out of the camera; only mods were resizing and slight sharpening as a final step.

The Moon before the eclipse.
 
This was done with a Nexstar 5, a 32mm eyepiece Tele Vu connected to a Nikon CoolPix 4500 for 1 second @ asa 100. It was done in my backyard in Houston, Texas around 9:23 or so.

I was using a Nexstar 5 in Houston, Texas. The exposure was 2 seconds , shot through a Nikon CoolPix 4500 connected to a 32mm TeleVu eyepiece.


Ken Miller
I started to take images with my Canon Rebel as the Lunar Eclipse started. I took a photo every five minutes, and used two different setting to get the two different images.
