![]() (Full size 61KB) Here is a moon mosaic taken by Ken Miller. He used a LX200 8 inch with an SBIG ST-237A. This is a combination of 6 exposures, each for .001 seconds. |
![]() (Full size 17KB) Here is another image of the Apennine and other mountain ranges. |
| See these CCD images taken by Ken Miller with his LX200
8" and his SBIG-ST237A CCD camera. Note the features inside the craters. |
![]() (Full size 16KB) Here is an image from Ken showing Jupiter and 3 moons. Taken with his LX200 8" and SBIG ST237A CCD camera, you can see details on the surface of Jupiter and 3 moons. One of the hardest things about taking images of Jupiter and its moons is to get a long enough exposure to get the moons but no "over exposing" Jupiter. There are more specifications in the image. |
![]() (Full Size19KB) And here is one of Jupiter itself. |
| Ken recently got some new toys (an SBIG ST-237A CCD
camera) and he has been out every clear night recently. Here are some moon pics taken recently. |
