I went outside last night 06/07/2005 at 8:00 PM at the Rafter M Ranch in Hockley, TX

above the horizon. I took this photo with my Canon Rebel 300D and 300 mm telephoto lens.
I had my camera mounted on a tripod with my Unimount Light Basic at 8:52PM.
The image was processed in Photoshop.

Jupiter and 3 moons
(Full size 16KB)
Here is an image from Ken showing Jupiter and 3 moons.
Taken with his LX200 8" and SBIG ST237A CCD camera, you can see details on the surface of Jupiter and 3 moons.
One of the hardest things about taking images of Jupiter and its moons is to get a long enough exposure to get the moons
but no "over exposing" Jupiter. There are more specifications in the image.
