| Ok, Wednesday evening we finally had a
break in the weather until about midnight. This is the Luminance that I acquired for M-51 before the fog, clouds, and dew set in. I will try to get the color at my next opportunity. Notice the many different little galaxies in the background including that little 'streak' of one at the bottom. |

| Ok, I finally had time to put the color on my M-51 Luminace. Here it is long after TSP is over... |

| Well I am at TSP (Texas Star Party) in Ft.
Davis now. The weather has not been very favorable so far. I did manage to grab this shot of M-100 Sunday night through the high thin clouds. This is processed on my laptop and the colors will be corrected when I get home on my calibrated monitor. We are having a good time 'socially' even if we aren't getting much time in under the stars... |

| Here we have NGC-253
in Sculptor. This was taken in Ft. Davis with my FCT-150 @ F/5 on December
8th, 2004. LRGB = 120:40:40:40 minutes. There is enough luminance to really bring out a lot of the background galaxys that I haven't seen before. Click Here to go to Randy's Web Site to see a full sized version if you would like to go galaxy hunting in the image. |
| This
is NGC-896, a neat little nebula in Cassiopeia. Taken with the FCT-150 @ F/5 from Ft. Davis on December 8th, 2004. LRGB = 110:40:40:40 minutes with about 50 minutes of Ha blended in. |
| This
is M-31, the Andromeda Galaxy. Imaged with a SBIG ST-10XME and Tak Sky-90
@ F/5 from Ft. Davis on December 7th, 2004. LRGB = 40:15:15:15 minutes. Note the blue star forming regions in the galaxy as well as the multicolored foreground stars that we must look through... |

is Comet Machholz taken from Ft. Davis on December 6th at about midnight with my FCT-150 at F/7 using the Canon 10D at prime focus. Note the tail going off to the upper left as well as a bright area above it to the right. This is a 5 minute shot. |
![]() (Full size 87KB) This is a really neat field of cool little galaxies all around NGC-4274 (center) in Coma Berenices. The Galaxy in the lower left is NGC-4314 and NGC-4245 on the top right. Taken with the FCT-150 at F/5 and ST-10XME at TSP on 5/19/2004. To see more of Randy Brewer's images, click here. |

![]() (Full size 209KB) Centaurus A - NGC-5128 - This is really cool galaxy just above Omega Centauri. I quickly grabbed this image of it just before packing my scope and leaving TSP. One of these days I will shoot it long and deep to get a better image of it. Taken from TSP 2004 in Ft. Davis with the FCT-150 at F/5. LRGB = (15:15:15:15) minutes. |
